A couple of weeks ago, I gave a talk during the Berlin Leadership meetup called “The art of delegation — Achieving more by doing less”.
We touched many topics around delegation. We talked about its essential role in agile companies, why companies should be shape-shifting entities to survive and be successful and why delegation plays an important role in that.
We explained why a leader need to put in place a delegation process which is mindful to people empowerment and motivation.
We exposed the causes that prevent managers from delegate and highlighted that the psychological factor plays a big role in that.
Finally, we also went through some current practices, tools and heuristics that help a leader to delegate successfully.
It was a true moment of sharing in terms of experiences and feelings. Personally, I’m really satisfied of the outcome and looking forward for the next event. Why don’t you join us?
