Another Berlin Leadership Meetup event, another set of slides. This time I gave a talk about the Cynefin framework and how it can be used to adapt our leadership style.
Leadership is something highly contextual. To each of the Cynefin domains, we can associate a particular style of leadership: from centralized and imperative in the Obvious and Chaotic domains, to distributed and facilitative in the Complicated and Complex ones.
I invite you to try it out and categorize the problems of your company: are they Obvious, Complicated, Complex or Chaotic? I just hope you don’t swim in the Disorder dark seas :)
